Eton Vintners
Eton Vintners is a small, but energetic company in the heart of Windsor, England, which is dedicated to the interests of quality wine. The company prides itself on its ability to import wonderful wines from vineyards that are sometimes too small or too specialised to be considered by the bigger wine shippers.
It was for this very reason that the company was established in 1989. Over the past few years, Eton Vintners has obtained sole agencies for wines and Champagnes, and foremost sub-agencies of Grande Marque Champagnes. This has enabled the growth of the wholesale and the retail operations, thus distributing to companies and institutions throughout the United Kingdom and around the world.
Furthermore, Eton Vintners offers a superb range of hampers, gift boxes and baskets designed to suit all occasions, budgets and tastes. They also offer a wine-finder service, which can locate any year back to 1900 in wines, cognacs and armagnacs.
The Director
Clive Allen Stanton
The Chief Wine Buyer and Managing Director of Eton Vintners, worked in France and Switzerland for 10 years for various wine houses before setting up Eton Vintners in 1989. He now travels throughout Europe and overseas several times a year buying from especially selected Chateaux and Domaines.
Clive holds talks and tastings on a regular basis throughout London and the South East and runs a retail outlet at 31 St Leonard’s Rd, Windsor and a large wholesale operation. Holding regular tastings as well as hosting visits to Vineyards in France.
