This mini-Sancerre has a lively gooseberry and citrus nose. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with long, refreshing acidity and good lemon and orange fruit intensity. The mineral notes and elegant feel place this wine amongst some of the best from the classic Sauvignon Blanc vineyards of the Loire.

4 bottles of Morgon, Gelin 75cl 2007

Celebrate summer with a good Beaujolais, this Morgon stands out from the pack. Produced by the hugely talented Giles Gelin from his 60 year old vines. This is a chunky well-made, elegant, fleshy, plummy wine. The best wines of Beaujolais are improving all the time with a minerality and focus normally reserved for Pinot Noir, they really do offer terrific value. Fabulous served chilled

4 bottles of Château de l'Aumérade, Côtes de Provence 75cl 2009

A pale pink colour, the nose is delicate, the complexity and the freshness of the aromas vary from raspberry to yellow peach. In the mouth, not too sweet and not too dry this rosé has a great balance of very soft and elegant fruit with a touch of spiciness on the finish. A truly delicious rosé.
