Lively notes of strawberries and raspberries on the nose. Full-bodied in the mouth, this wine offers delicate flavours of fruits of the forest and a long, elegant finish with refreshing acidity. A must for the coming warmer summer days and nights.

50 wines to try before you die! - Our Seventeenth wine - Langhe Nebbiolo, Langhe, Piedmont 2014

Friday 6th May 2016

Ruby red in colour, this Nebbiolo is both delicate and intense, with expressive aromas of violets and dried roses and red berry notes. In the mouth it is silky and energetic. Vajra is a Sanskrit word meaning both thunderbolt and diamond, which seems right for this vivacious wine.
