A wonderful pétillant red wine for the summer from Modena in Italy. Ruby red in colour. Fresh and elegantly fruity on the nose. On the palate, delicate floral and blackberry notes. Well-balanced and clean on the finish.

The Lambrusco grape variety has a number of clones each with different characteristics; Salamino tends to be dry with good levels of acidity. Within the estate is an old Fransican monastery which has been preserved and probably part of the estate formerly belonged to this monastery.
