When we tasted this wine, we were immediately blown away. A deep purple colour with aromas of blueberries, ripe raspberries and liquorice. Full-bodied and succulent with an inviting richness and integrated oak and caramel notes.

Mourvedre/ Monastrell
A Spanish variety called Monastrell and sometimes Mataro is now the main third grape variety this is most often blended with Grenache and Syrah, Mourvèdre, its powerful tannins harmonize well with the smoothness and spices of the Syrah, and easily adapt to the full character of the Grenache. Not very acidic, it evolves from black fruits and liquorice to notes of black pepper, more gamey, truffle and undergrowth.
