A pure Malbec is a rarity from New Zealand. Grown on the Te Awa vineyard located in the Gimblett Gravels, with 10 months in French and American oak barrels, this Leftfield Malbec is a lighter style. Loads of fresh fruit flavours, Christmas cake spice and intense characters of blackberry and liquorice meet the heroically proportioned mass of dark chocolate draped in smooth, fine velvet.
