This wine is dry yet aromatic with good depth on the mid palate that makes it highly quaffable. It has a fragrant nettley character and crisp acidity on the finish.

Destinea Sauvignon Blanc, Joseph Mellot, 2021/22 75cl –
Elegant and floral on the nose, with hints of lemon and grapefruit. The palate shows good aromatics and balance. This sauvignon is great as an aperitif, or goes well with chicken, fish and spicy food.

Pouilly Fumé Le Chant des Vignes, Joseph Mellot 2022 75cl –
Pale lemon, yellow in colour. The nose is fresh with lively citrus fruit notes and grass. The firm, mineral palate has excellent balance of fine acidity with intense lemon, flint and pear flavours and a long crisp finish. It is medium to full-bodied. It shows a good balance between classicism and modernity.

Muscadet Sevre et Maine sur Lie, Chateau du Coing 202275cl –
Pale colour with lively citrus and apple nose with hints of almonds and brioche. On the palate it is refreshing and long with excellent complexity of apple, pear and almonds surprising weight and good length.

Menetou-Salon Les Thureaux, Joseph Mellot 2021/22 75cl –
This wine shows a pale gold colour, with an intense and expressive note. A citrus and tropical fruit medley.

Sauvignon de Touraine, Domaine Joel Delaunay 2022 75cl –
A nettley nose, crisp, dry with good weight and a clean, fresh finish with mineral notes.
