Dark and intense red colour. The nose is very complex and shows fresh fruits aromas when young. Then it moves to animals and leather notes when ageing. Concentrated and complex in the mouth, the wine shows also nice red fruits tastes. It is round and supple with a nice persistency.

More Information

Champagne and Burgundy are the best regions for Pinot Noir followed by New Zealand and Oregon. California, South Africa and Australia are making some great Pinot Noirs as well not forgetting Canada. Pinot Noir makes a noticeably pale wine, but has intense perfume and flavour. When young, its aromas range from freshly crushed raspberries or strawberries to plum jam. With age, Pinot Noir often shows violets, game or truffles.
