The nose is fine and elegant with aromas of fresh blackberries, raspberries andblackcurrants andtobacco. On the palate the wine is structured and fleshy, ageing this wine brings the necessary harmony balance between the flesh of the fruit and tannins.

Pinot Noir

Champagne and Burgundy’s is the best region for Pinot Noir followed by New Zealand and Oregon. California, South Africa and Australia are making some great Pinot Noirs as well not forgetting Canada. Pinot Noir makes a noticeably pale wine, but has intense perfume and flavour. When young, its aromas range from freshly crushed raspberries or strawberries to plum jam. With age, Pinot Noir often shows violets, game or truffles.
