(V) and (VG) The wine is deep ruby in colour with a purple hue. Aromas of ripe black fruits combine with a touch of oak on the nose. On the palate this light-medium bodied, with flavours of red fruit, spice and Mediterranean herbs. It is well structured with smooth tannins and a balanced acidity, with the red fruit flavours lingering on the long finish.

More Information

The vines are planted in the Judean Foothills in heavy Rendzina soils which are rich in organic materials. The vines are training using the Vertical Shoot Position trellis system with minimal direct sun-light exposure.
Argaman is a grape variety created in Israel from a cross of Souzao and Carignan. Deep in colour with easy appeal and juicy dark berry fruit, it is easy to see why consultant Alberto Antonini compares it to Malbec.
