(V)Eton Vintners rates this as the best English Pinot Noir. Produced by Hush Heath Estate in Kent, Their still and sparkling wines are outstanding and wining awards in the UK and overseas.

Deep red in color with a classic Burgundian nose of red berry fruits and violets with a touch of pepper. The palate is concentrated with fresh raspberry and redcurrant flavors with a slight peppery finish and mint. Amazing structure and backbone for such a northernly grown red wine. A real winner amongst Pinots.

Pinot Noir

Champagne and Burgundy’s is the best region for Pinot Noir followed by New Zealand and Oregon. California, South Africa and Australia are making some great Pinot Noirs as well not forgetting Canada. Pinot Noir makes a noticeably pale wine, but has intense perfume and flavour. When young, its aromas range from freshly crushed raspberries or strawberries to plum jam. With age, Pinot Noir often shows violets, game or truffles.
