Organic Massale Pinot Noir, Kooyong, Mornington Peninsula, Victoria 2018/19 75cl

(V) and VG) Aromas of lifted strawberry and red cherry fruit with gamey notes, complimented with subtle vanillin oak. The palate is well structured and persistent with great depth of fruit and savouriness on the finish.

All vineyards are farmed organically with great emphasis on the overall health of the vines and working with reduced yields. The vines are produced according to organic methods using natural vinification and restricted use of sulphur. For information on Organic, Biodynamic and Natural wines log on to our knowledge page

Pinot Noir

Champagne and Burgundy are the best regions for Pinot Noir followed by New Zealand and Oregon. California, South Africa and Australia are making some great Pinot Noirs as well not forgetting Canada. Pinot Noir makes a noticeably pale wine, but has intense perfume and flavour. When young, its aromas range from freshly crushed raspberries or strawberries to plum jam. With age, Pinot Noir often shows violets, game or truffles.
