A Georgian discovery

After wading through the usual pinot noirs and nebbiolos I came across this interesting  bottle with a very intricate label. I poured this inky dark red wine into my glass and instantly the aromas wafted of dark chocolate across my nose. From the first sip an explosion of dry turkish delight, dark bitter chocolate and mulberries swirled around with a long subtle aftertaste of liquorice. This is a must for those long and dark winter months with game and roasts.
