(V) and (VG)Domaine Bousquet, one of the leading houses of Argentina’s celebrated Mendoza region, dates back to the early 1990s, when a third generation French winemaker, Jean Bousquet, was seduced by this untouched terrain. This blend of 35% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc is made with no added sulphites and relies on the wine’s own preservative qualities, notably the presence of tanins, as well as excellent winemaking, to create a generously balanced and pure wine. With an eye-catching label, it offers a pure expression of the elevated terroir, beyond 4,000 feet in the Alto Gualtillary, Tupungato. Very full-bodied, with a lingering depth of flavour.
