A classic Riesling from the Nahe in Germany where the climate is warm and sunny. Fresh aromas of apple and pineapple. Roundness and a lovely balance with luscious melon and stone fruit lead to a soft mineral finish. Good with spicy food or as an aperitif.

BLAUFRANKISCH FOLLIGBERG, LEBERL, BURGENLAND, AUSTRIA 2015

Leberl’s grape varietal has MittelEuropa origins and is named after the Napoleonic army’s favourite red wine.

This lovely gutsy red wine is made close to the Hungarian border and is very aromatic with flavours of dark berries and spice. An intense prune and beefy body, great structure, harmonious and long. Good with lamb, pork and game.

Pinot Nero /Blauburgunder, Colterenzio/Schreckbichl Alto Adige/Sud Tirol 2017

The northern Italian region of Sud Tirol was formerly part of Austria. The region carefully guards its language, traditions and winemaking. This is a delightful Pinot Noir with a fruity nose of red currants and black cherries. Medium-bodied, round with soft tannins and ripe berry flavours. Good balance. Stylish and elegant.
